About the project

"Sound Books" is a platform for listening to audiobooks, short stories and plays recorded by both amateurs and professionals in the public domain.

Every day we publish new materials that are created by users all over the Internet. You can also participate by recording your book in audio format or obtaining permission from the author and sending it to us by mail: info@soundbooks.online.

We are continuously developing communication tools that will make it easier for you to find new books, stories, authors and performers, friends and just friends with similar interests.

Source

Books that have entered the public domain are digitized and recorded by volunteers that coordinate themselves through a variety of websites. The majority of public domain books, however, are digitized by Gutenberg.org and recorded by Librivox.org. Sound-Books draws on these public domain sources to deliver free audio books to you in an engaging and fun way. Enjoy the browsing experience on our website and be sure to bookmark us and return when youre ready for you're next audio book!

We do not post audiobooks that infringe copyrights. Materials for publication are usually found on the Internet from open sources.

If you are the copyright holder of any material linked (or linked to) on this site and would not like this information to be disseminated by users without your consent, we will be happy to assist you by removing the relevant links.
To do this, please send us a letter (in electronic form) to the following address: info@soundbooks.online
